Custom L-Shaped Upholstered Dining Banquette

Custom fabricated L-shaped upholstered dining banquette designed for a residential breakfast nook in Boca Raton, Florida.

The banquette will feature a clean, tailored silhouette with vertical scalloped upholstery along the backrest. The piece will be upholstered in a light taupe/greige textured performance fabric selected for durability, easy maintenance, and everyday family use.

Approximate overall dimensions based on client-provided measurements:

• Long side: 101" overall
• Short side: 77" overall
• Approx. overall depth: 26"
• Approx. seat depth: 19"
• Approx. seat height: 21"
• Approx. overall back height: 35"

The final seat depth, backrest thickness, corner configuration, and overall proportions will be refined during the design and shop drawing process to ensure comfortable dining proportions and the cleanest transition through the corner.

Construction includes a fully upholstered seat and vertically channeled backrest with a finished recessed/plinth-style base as shown in the design rendering. The banquette may be fabricated in multiple sections as required for transport, installation, and access into the residence while maintaining the appearance of one continuous L-shaped piece once assembled.

Upholstery to be selected from HF Atelier’s performance fabric collection. Initial fabric direction will focus on sophisticated light-to-medium taupe, greige, and neutral tones while avoiding bright whites, ivories, and overly dark colors. Physical samples will be provided for review and final approval prior to production
