Warm, sculptural, and designed to transform a simple corner into a destination, this custom L-shaped banquette pairs distressed deep leather with soft scalloped upholstery across both the seat and back.

Designed to fit within a standard 90° architectural corner, the banquette features two generous runs — approximately 60" on the right and 72" on the left — joined by a softened curved corner transition. The result keeps the footprint of an L-shaped banquette while avoiding a hard, square inside corner.

The distressed deep cognac leather brings warmth, depth, and natural character, while the scalloped seat and back give the entire piece a plush, dimensional silhouette.

The overall look is inspired by classic club seating and vintage speakeasy interiors, but kept clean enough to work beautifully in a residential setting.

The two straight runs are designed to follow the 90° walls while transitioning through a curved upholstered corner.

Final dimensions and the exact radius of the curved corner should be confirmed prior to production.

MATERIALS

The banquette is upholstered in distressed deep leather, selected for its rich color, durability, and naturally aged character.

The finish is intentionally warm and lived-in rather than perfectly uniform, with subtle variation in tone, grain, texture, creasing, and markings. These characteristics are inherent to genuine leather and contribute to the individuality of the finished piece.

Over time, the leather will soften and develop an even richer patina.

SCALLOPED UPHOLSTERY

Both the seat and backrest feature soft, dimensional scalloped upholstery.

The repeated upholstered sections create a plush, rounded appearance across the entire banquette while keeping the overall design tailored and cohesive. The scalloped detailing continues through the curved corner transition, allowing the two sides to read as one continuous seating piece.

CURVED CORNER DESIGN

Although the banquette is designed for a standard 90° room corner, the seating itself incorporates a softened curved transition where the two runs meet.

This detail removes the visual hardness of a traditional square L-shaped corner and creates a more sculptural, comfortable silhouette.

The exact curve and radius will be finalized prior to production based on the confirmed site dimensions.
