Under CCPA/CPRA, "sale" includes the exchange of personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" specifically covers the disclosure of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — for example, when a website allows an advertising platform to track a visitor's activity to serve targeted ads on other websites or apps.

HF Atelier LLC does not sell personal information in the traditional sense. We do not exchange your information for money or trade it as a standalone product.

However, our use of advertising and analytics technologies — including Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, and similar tools — may qualify as "sharing" under California law. These tools allow advertising platforms to receive information about your activity on our site, which can then be used for targeted advertising on other platforms.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising using any of the methods below.

1. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

2. Email Request
Send an email to studio@hfatelier.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share — California." Include:

• Your name
• The email address associated with your account or any inquiries
• A statement that you are opting out of sale and sharing of your personal information

We will process your request within 15 business days as required by law.

3. Cookie Settings
You can disable advertising cookies through your browser settings. Instructions vary by browser — most major browsers allow you to block third-party cookies, which prevents most advertising tracking.

What Happens After You Opt Out

Once we receive and verify your opt-out request:

• We will stop sharing your personal information with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising
• You may continue to see ads from Atelier HF, but they will not be personalized based on your browsing activity
• Other privacy rights (right to know, right to delete, right to correct) remain available to you and can be exercised separately

Opting out does not affect:

• Your ability to place orders, request quotes, or use our services
• Communications you have actively subscribed to (newsletters, order updates, etc.)
• Essential site functionality (cart, checkout, account management)

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. You will receive the same level of service, the same pricing, and the same product quality regardless of whether you exercise this right.
